being a retard

retard

To be called a retard is to make you feel like a retard.  But really it is the people who called you a retard who are re-tards for not thinking of a more complicated word. So the people who unfairly called you a retard must be having a mental retardism. For all of those people that do not know what a mental retardism is it is the same thing as a spas attack. You should not use the word retard because it is a derogatory word. Against the people who have a mental deficiency. So you see retard should not be stated in school.

lottery responce

Evil Minds Think Alike
This whole story is about the theme insensible traditions. The black box tradition or the lottery was probably away to tell witch prisoner to execute their crimes because they probably did not have a jail. In today's society and even in the 1940's society it would be seen as an insensible tradition.

Back during the 1940's there was World War 2 the Nazis were in Europe doing much of the same thing that these people are doing. In Germany the Jews being rounded up and put in consotration camps if people were found hiding a Jew they would be killed. To get on the good side of the Gestapo you had to rat out someone. Which is like they did in the short story the "lottery” the picked a random person to execute.

Like a Stone
My life as a stone is very boring it is at one place for a long time then I move to a new place and stay there for a long time. So far what has happened in my life was: I was floating through space for a million years. Back then I was fat I was the size of a computer desktop. Then I fell through earth’s atmosphere and hit the ground. I was buried for a thousand years. Next a Native American sharpened me in to an arrowhead. Lastly I was dropped on to a side of this path. And now here I'm today.

The problem of past and present America
Authors note: This is a five paragraph essay about conflict resolution of the main problems in the Novel “The Lunchbox Dream”
Two of the main problems in our society today are racism and stereotyping people. The two main problems of the novel “lunchbox dream” are racism and stereotyping. The novel fallow many character each character has his/her own problem but the back ground problems are racism and stereotyping.
Racism is one thing that has still been a problem since 1749 but people stereotype ever since they read books and were told what other people were like. Once our country gained its freedom most slaves that were fighting in the war were freed. but they were treated like they were less than everybody else because some people still thought of them as being slaves. Which we fixed by fighting the civil war making it illegal to own slaves to take away that thought. Then after the civil war in the south it got worse because many people in the south thought they were freed unjustly. Eventually in the 50’s it got so bad that there were different bathrooms for them different bubbler for them and even different schools for them.  They even some times had to ride in the back part of the bus which was in the lunch box dream. Which today we are better at but there are some that are still racist and there are no more separations we all go to the same places.  Because of racism many were stereotyped as being robbers or not very bright.
Racism is dependent on stereotyping, if people didn’t make all of these fake stereotypes of people. Stereotyping in real life is for example if a person has glasses you naturally think him to be smart or a nerd. That is what you are taught through reading books or watching movies it is nothing wrong with it until you get mean about it. In the novel “lunch box dream” many times people are stereotyped. For example one of the main characters booby is stereotyped by the park ranger as a person from the north thinking that he’s was better than everyone down south because the north won the war.  He defied his stereotype by being nice to people at the bus station. One of the problems in the book had to deal with both racism and stereotyping.
The main problem for one of the main characters Ruth is to find her grandchild he is some were in Atlanta. his family is afraid that he might have gotten beaten up because he is black. But they also stereotype him thinking that he is not in tune with the world around him because he is a child. But the problem gets resolved by the family finding him at the Atlanta bus station. This quote describes the seine “’Jacob--” the younger man leaped out the door in a rush, falling onto the side walk.” The family’s problem was solved by the passenger being so nice to them to allow them a seat.
Racism and stereotyping were the two main problems in the “lunch box dream”. ironically both those problem have yet to be solved. Even though everyone agrees we should solve them we can’t.

The Real Zombie Virus

Have you ever seen a zombie movie “Dawn of the Dead” or viral outback movie like The Stand they both make viruses the main problem in the movie, some viruses are like the ones in the movies.   Viruses in the movies are very similar to real viruses but not all viruses are bad some are helpful.
Some viruses help us get rid of diseases while others damage our bodies and can even kill us. One virus that kills 155,000,000 people a year (not in America) is the rabies virus it is similar to the virus in the movie “Dawn of the Dead” because the rabies virus attacks the brain and spinal cord and changes the brain functions (?) which is like the zombie virus. The zombie virus changes the brains function to reanimate the dead corpse. The rabies virus after 10 days will kill its host but fortuity there has only been two cases of rabies reported in the last five years because of our vaccine to the rabies virus.
Most viruses ‘can’t be killed without help from medicine because most viruses evolved to beat our immune system.  How a virus spreads is by infecting other cells then the infected cell grows viruses almost exactly the same as the virus that infected the cell then the viruses gets released when the cell bursts to infect other cells (viruses).  But our bodies have learned to combat these viruses mostly through vaccines.  The vaccine is a dead virus as soon as it is in our body our white blood cells attack it thinking it is alive which helps our body find out how to kill it. We have also eliminated most animals infected with the rabies virus through giving them the vaccine in food left for the animals. But not all viruses are bad for you like the rabies virus some help us.
Some viruses all do the same thing (or at least most) they get in cells and most kill their host.  One virus is being changed to attack only cancer cells the virus is still doing what it is meant to do but no it kills bad cells. The Cyanophage virus helps us breath oxygen is filled with this virus it enters the cells in our lungs to deliver extra oxygen then the body forces it out. Unfortunately our body hates all viruses good or bad so we can only let good viruses in for a short time.
Some viruses help us while other viruses are more like the ones in the movies that kill us. Good or bad viruses have been around for millions of years.
